Winning Wine Wednesdays: Craft Beer Week Arrives In Chicago

Face it. There's nothing like a cold, frosty glass of beer to set everything right with the world. These days, however, there are more choices than one knows what to do with. That's why some smart people (don't know them by name) came up with Craft Beer Week. 

Yes, there's American Craft Beer Week, but 'you know how we do' in Chicago. We had to have a week (make that 10 days) all our own.  That being said, here's how you can drink, taste, and choose the next great one!

The official opening for Chicago Craft Beer Week, Beer Under Glass, kicks-off May 14th at Garfield Conservatory. 

(This event will be held throughout the indoor display houses and outdoor Conservatory grounds, rain or shine)

Hours: 6:30pm-9:30pm (5:30pm admission for VIP ticket holders)
Where: Garfield Park Conservatory, 300 N. Central Park Ave., Chicago IL 60624
Cost: $60 for General Admission tickets; $90 for VIP tickets; $115 for VIP tickets with GPCA Basic Membership (available to non-members March 4 - March 31)

Ticket sales will end at 11:59pm on Wednesday May 13th.

Celebrate the return of spring with the return of Beer Under Glass! This year's Beer Under Glass will again be brought to you by the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance in partnership with the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild.

Enjoy the Conservatory display houses and gardens at night as you sip inventive brews from some of Chicagoland's hottest craft breweries in your souvenir glass. Popular local restaurants will serve up tasty small plates, and other surprises will round out the evening.
