Winning Wine Wednesdays: Pisco Porton Mixes It Up At Chicago's Tanta!

One of the most understated, yet versatile, spirits is Pisco Porton. The Master Distiller for Pisco Porton, Johnny Schuler (read more here) and Porton's brand ambassador, Natalia Cardenas, recently hosted an intimate tasting and mixology class at Chicago's Tanta.

Bloody Mary with Pisco Porton

Pisco Sour ~


  • 2 oz Portón
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz egg whites
  • Dash of Angostura bitters

Directions:

Add all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high for 15 seconds, add 5 cubes of ice, and then pulse in the blender 5 times. Strain up into a coupe glass. Garnish with 3 drops of Angostura bitters.
Pisco Punch ~
  • 1 (750ml) bottle of Portón
  • 16 oz. pineapple juice
  • 6 oz. simple syrup
  • ½ fresh pineapple in cubes
  • 7 oz fresh strawberries in cubes
  • Abundant ice
  • Mint leaves

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in punch bowl or beverage dispenser. Serve in rocks glasses, adding pineapple and strawberry squares. Garnish with mint
