To bring laughter to the labor of leasing, Rent.com has partnered with Live @ The Apt, a New York based underground comedy outfit that features up-and-coming comedians--stand up in a walk up, if you will. Rent.com brought out some of Chicago's finest (comedians) to a Gold Coast apartment for an evening of Cocktails and Comedy.
Before the show, guests were treated to a lively music set and an assortment of delicious hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.
So what is Live @ The Apt? Created in 2013 as an intimate show for friends in an East Village walk-up, Live @ The Apt has since grown into a monthly underground stand-up show featuring some of New York's best up-and-coming comedians performing in apartments all over Manhattan and Brooklyn.
The show has been written-up in The New York Times, USA TODAY and Vice Magazine, and has featured names like Sasheer Zamata, Hannibal Buress and The Lucas Brothers. Live @ The Apt has also gone outside New York, recently producing shows in Vancouver and participating in Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival. Each show is filmed live and released online.
Meanwhile Rent.com brought the funny to Chicago to show how you can take the stress out of renting by utilizing its Totally Legit program.
