Do you know what today is? It's our anniversary! Yassss! Today C-Style Magazine officially turns 7! We are ecstatic that we are still in the game and looking forward to an amazing future with you, our wonderful and loyal readers!
A lot of things have happened since C-Style began. We've seen very talented colleagues who had major followings come-and-go. We've been invited to some of the most entertaining, luxe, and delicious events around Chicago. We've mourned the loss of some of the best chefs and tastemakers on the Chicago scene, and we've had a lot of personal changes in our lives as well.
The one thing you can count on in life is CHANGE. Yep. It happens whether you like it or not. So the best way to handle it is to "Be The Change You Want To See In The World." Whether it's your personal or work life, you have the power to initiate change so that you can receive the most benefit from it.
One of my personal development mentors, Dr. Wayne Dyer, recently passed away. Dr. Dyer was famous for promoting the "power of intention." What is your intent? What do you intend to do with your time on this planet?
As for me, personally. I've never been one to like to see the grass grow under my feet. I love variety and seeing what's next! As for C-Style Magazine, it will be changing and evolving in the year 2016 as well. It has never been our intent to keep C-Style all to ourselves here in Chicago. We want C-Style to have a global audience and be able to help everyone upgrade their lifestyles.
That being said, we will be adding new staff members and developing more inter-active experiences for and with our readers. We want you to have the time of your life and always keep your eye on the prize -- whatever that may be for you.
Last but not least, we want to thank our partnerships - publicists, brands, marketing, freelancers, advertisers, and the C-Style staff for helping us do what we do!
