The Go List! Weekend Edition - October 22 - October 25, 2015

Fall is in full swing, with excellent weather, and it's time to get out and about in Chicago! Here's what's going on this weekend.

UniQlo opens in Chicago.  The Japanese casual clothing store opens at 830 N. Michigan Avenue with three days of giveaways and fun activities for Chicago-area shoppers!

UNIQLO loves Chicago, and to celebrate their first location in the Midwest, they’re throwing a party! They’ve invited some of Chicago’s best talent to perform, and there’ll be free prizes and giveaways throughout the day.



Fashion Loves Art  will take place at Moonlight Studios located at 1446 Kinzie Street Friday, October 23rd from 6pm to10pm. Native Chicago stylist, Stephanie Alexis (http://www.sastylestudio.com/), created the Fashion Loves Art event to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Chicago by bringing together designers and artists for a silent auction. 

Artists, designers and more are gathering for this philanthropic night. Featuring pieces for auction by artists Katrina Jackson of VH1’s Black Ink Crew, Joey Africa, Miriam Zuckerman, Rome Won, and Goons. Designers also showcasing are Silvia Bours, Tianna Barnes, Harkiss Designs, Chicago Playground, Stello Official, Aurelia Garza, Nicole Andrews, Ria Bulga, Mark Roscoe and Filthy Haanz.

Saturday, October 24th -




The Halloween Gathering -  Join The Cultural Mile Association for a spook-tacular day of ghouls, ghosts, goblins and a "Thriller" Flash Mob!  This powerful event will gather Chicago’s vast and diverse creative communities for an all-day festival culminating with a magical nighttime parade. 

Drawing together world-renowned institutions including the Field Museum, The Art Institute of Chicago, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Columbia College Chicago and the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians, as well as unique local organizations like Louder Than a Bomb, Silent Theatre Company, and guilds of artists in assorted fields, this dramatic display will activate Halloween as the “artist’s holiday” along one of the most prestigious cultural avenues in the world.


The Halloween Gathering After Party will electrify the night at the Plaza at Millennium Park on the Chicago Cultural Mile! From 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM on October 24, 2015, celebrate the night in costume with live music from local artists, food, drinks, and interactive art installations by George Berlin
